Hello everybody, Steven here from the U.S.A.

I've never really known much about Steampunk other than that it's based heavily on steam engines in the Victorian era. However as I've looked into it bit by bit, sure enough I became very interested in it as an idea. I've been a bit of a nerd my entire life, having played everything from Dungeons and Dragons, World of Darkness, WhiteWolf, Cyberscape and many other Roleplay systems to more traditional tabletop games such as Warhammer and War ...

This seems like such an interesting RPG, if it could only get off its feet! I'm Calla, an avid roleplayer, and i'll probably lurk this forum every now and then until it gets back in business. Then, I hope to unveil my idea for a character: A mad scientist, also a veteran of an ancient war, with an automatonic assistant, secretly housing the brain of a fallen comrade. :3

Recently got addicted to SteamPunk and everything about it and after two days of googling SteamPunk I finally stumbled along here =D
ATM I'm still trying to decide my character, have got it narrowed down to Gunslinger or Aeronaut...but even that may be subject to change. It's been a while since I've done any form of RP (excluding Fable) so I'm looking forward to getting going.

I've done a lot of pen&paper RPGs, including a steampunkish campaign of 7th Sea set in 1880.

Is it too late to join the Abyss-adventure? I know it's way past the deadline, but I would love to

I dunno, i guess maybe a point in the right direction would be nice. I've read the rules and classes and stuff, and if no one wants to give me a quick run-through i could make my character and start on my own...but then i wouldn't get to meet people.

This is, of course, a much more simpler version of the games’ rules, even different in some parts. I will act as game master, and try to submit at least two or three updates to the ongoing story per week (if someone else wants to act as temporary ...

Description

A steel-gray metal, tungsten is found in several ores. It is remarkable for its robust physical properties, especially the fact that it has the highest melting point of all the non-alloyed metals and the second highest of all the elements after carbon. Tungsten is often brittle and hard to work in its raw state; however, if pure, it can be cut with a hacksaw. The pure form is used mainly in electrical applications, but its many compounds and alloys are used in many applications, ...
