Formerly a small fishing port at the mouth of the river Alass, the town quickly became rich and big after the first steam engine was invented here by a genius mechanic named William A. Thornston. Nowadays it is estimated that New Central might be the biggest city in the world! It most certainly is the city with the most technological wonders. New Central has its own steam-powered underground railway, a big train station, several landing points for airships and the world’s most modern habour.
